Job Overview: We are currently seeking skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technicians with a minimum of 3-5 years of commercial HVAC service experience. The Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems. Commercial HVAC Service Technicians will be required to utilize their knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatics and DDC/electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding/brazing and mechanical layouts. We have a focus on Medical Facilities, Hospital, Surgical Centers and Laboratory HVAC experience is a plus. Key Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. • Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. • Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction • Performs repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems • Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring schematics/diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units • Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications to HVAC equipment. • Prepares for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work. • Technician to provide your own hand tools. Specialized tools will be provided by the company. • Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files. Must have good legible handwriting. • Keeps current all manufacturers’ products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair. Willing to attend training for specific products as required. • Provides technical support to customers. • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required. Ideal Candidate Profile: • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field service industry. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. • Familiarity with HVAC/R design principles and practices. • Ability to plumb and maintain various HVAC systems effectively. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC are a plus but not required.
