Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated **Senior HVAC Technician** to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive reliable and efficient service, mentoring junior technicians, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation systems. - Perform system installations, upgrades, and replacements with precision and adherence to safety codes. - Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and control system issues. - Mentor and provide guidance to junior technicians and apprentices. - Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues, solutions, and preventive maintenance. - Maintain accurate service records and documentation. - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. - Assist in training and development programs as needed. Qualifications: - Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience as an HVAC technician, with a strong focus on troubleshooting and repair. - EPA Universal Certification, 40 Hour NY SST (includes 30-hour OSHA), 10FDNY G60, F60 Fire guard - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, refrigeration cycles, and building codes. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
