HVAC Service Technician

to ensureJob Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. We are a McDonald's Franchisee and operate 19 locations in the Phoenix and surronding areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and hands-on experience in various HVAC applications. The technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various settings. Responsibilities • Maintain and repair HVAC systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. • Troubleshoot issues related to air conditioning, refrigeration, heating systems, and plumbing. • Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand system layouts. • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment. • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations. • Provide excellent customer service while interacting on-site. • Maintain accurate records of service performed and equipment status. • Collaborate with other team members and supervisors. Skills • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems, is a must. • Experience as a service technician with a focus on field service and restaurant operations. • Ability to diagnose and fix equipment on their own, and can give the company honest options to either repair or replace the equipment. • Ability to perform equipment repair and appliance repair tasks effectively. • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. • Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites. • Clean driving record • Welding skills are advantageous for certain repair tasks. • Keep the company informed of what you are doing, when you are doing it, and why it needs to happen. • Can work overtime and weekends as needed. • Motivated with a can-do attitude.
