HVAC Service Technician - – Year-Round Role with Consistent Pay

What You’ll Do • Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems for effectiveness and efficiency • Complete seasonal tune-ups and safety inspections with a focus on long-term system health. • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults and failures in residential HVAC systems • Check and recharge refrigerant levels, detect gas leaks, and verify the refrigerant cycle's proper operation • Calibrate thermostats, test controls, and document system readings to ensure peak performance. • Successfully conduct HVAC repairs on both heat pump and gas systems • Document work using our field apps — from service notes and job summaries to part recommendations. • Communicate with homeowners in a friendly, informative way to educate homeowners on system operations and usage. • Collaborate and communicate with dispatch and support teams to ensure smooth scheduling and customer satisfaction. • Maintain a clean and well stocked work vehicle with proper tools and equipment at all times • Understand and apply airflow principles and refrigerant cycles in order to help maintain HVAC systems • Follow all local codes, safety protocols, and company standards. What You Bring • 5+ years of experience servicing residential HVAC systems (repair + maintenance). • An understanding of excellent customer service skills to exceed customer expectations on every service call • EPA Certification (required); NATE Certification is a plus. • A reliable work vehicle (not required, but is a plus) • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • Physically able to lift, climb, and work in confined spaces like attics or crawl spaces.
