HVAC / Sheet Metal Mechanic

Required Skills/Abilities: • Ability to complete sheet metal projects with accuracy and precision. • Ability to safely use machinery and tools involved in sheet metal work. • Ability to follow directions. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics to understand product assignment. Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Successful completion of an apprenticeship or a three-year, in-company training program required. • Certification preferred. Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods lifting, reaching, and working on scaffolding and overhead structures. • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times. Responsibilities and Duties: • Select types of sheet metal according to building or design plans • Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets • Drill holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets • Install metal sheets with supportive frameworks • Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites • Maneuver and anchor large sheet metal parts • Fasten seams or joints by welding, bolting, riveting, or soldering Benefits: • Medical Insurance • Dental Insurance • Vision Insurance • Paid Time Off • PTO • 401k • Safety bucks program! • Referral Bonuses!
