HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic (Experience Required, and Immediate Start availability)

Position Overview: As anHVAC Sheet Metal/Ductwork Mechanic, you will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systems according to job specifications and mechanical codes. This position requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities: • Install, assemble, and secure sheet metal ductwork (rectangular, round, spiral) • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and HVAC layout plans • Measure, cut, and fabricate sheet metal components using hand and power tools • Install hangers and supports for duct systems • Inspect work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications • Maintain a clean and safe work environment • Collaborate with foremen, supervisors, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow Requirements: • 3+ years of experience in HVAC sheet metal installation (commercial or industrial preferred) • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and duct layouts • Proficiency in using sheet metal tools and equipment • Knowledge of mechanical codes and safety standards • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license • OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus • Ability to work at heights, in tight spaces, and lift up to 75 lbs We Offer: • Competitive wages and overtime opportunities • Health, dental, and vision insurance Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.50 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off Schedule: • 10 hour shift • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday • Weekends as needed Application Question(s): • Are you available to start immediately?
