Join a fast-growing mechanical contractor specializing in commercial HVAC installations across high-profile projects like educational facilities, medical centers, multi-level commercial buildings, and institutional renovations. We’re looking for aqualified HVAC Sheetmetal Journeymanwith a proven track record in ductwork installation, field modifications, team leadership, and safety compliance. Responsibilities • Perform expertductwork layout, installation, and field modificationsacross diverse job sites including K-12 schools, hospitals, colleges, and new build/remodel projects • Install and integrateair handling systems, diffusers, VAV boxes, and rooftop units (RTUs)per project specs • Collaborate with project Foreman/Superintendent to fulfill scope, sequencing, and resource planning • MentorHVAC apprenticeson proper installation techniques and OSHA safety standards • Conductsite walkthroughsand verify installation against plans and specs using mechanical drawings • Manage material handling, loading, and readiness for daily execution • Attend mandatory toolbox talks, safety briefings, and technician development sessions • Maintain consistent PPE use and observe all company and site-specificsafety protocols Qualifications & Core Competencies • Minimum5 years of hands-on field experienceinstalling commercial HVAC sheetmetal systems • Proficiency inSMACNA standards, blueprint interpretation, and jobsite troubleshooting • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results aligned with project timelines • Comfortable operatingaerial lifts, scissor lifts, ladders, hand tools, and power tools • Passion forcraftsmanship, accuracy, and site organization • Willingness to mentor team members and foster a collaborative jobsite atmosphere Additional Requirements • Validdriver’s licenseand clean driving record • Able to passpre-employment drug screening • Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs, crawling, climbing, and working at elevated heights • Dependable transportation to job sites across the metro area • Professional appearance and strong timekeeping skills We value team players who take pride in their trade and embody a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous growth.
