Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, and refrigeration systems.
• Install copper lines for HVAC systems, ensuring proper connection and functionality.
• Inspect and test HVAC systems and components for any problems.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks to ensure system longevity.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various HVAC systems.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Record HVAC maintenance and repair work performed and keep a record of the type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
• Respond to emergency calls for HVAC problems.
• Provide excellent customer service and explain to customers what repairs are needed and what has been done.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent years of work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance, with specific experience in copper line installation.
• EPA Universal certification.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
