HVAC Technician (2 local locations)

Lakeshore Sport & Fitness is looking for an organized, reliable In-house maintenance Technician to join our engineering team responsible for general upkeep of four 160,000+ square foot health club facilities. Primary responsibilities will be HVAC. Must have knowledge and aminimum of 5 years of experiencein Chillers, Air handlers, RTU's and the controllers. Candidate will also be required to perform a wide variety of semi-skilled building maintenance, general labor and light repair tasks, and perform any related duties as required. Specific knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems is also required. Applicant must possess a working knowledge of building operational systems to ensure maximum up time on all systems and equipment. Works with the maintenance manager to order materials, schedule and plan work. Must be willing to deal with clientele regularly and with a smile. As this is an open and operating facility, member service comes first. Must exhibit initiative, responsibility, and be pro-active to keep work on track. This does not limit tasks that may be assigned but all will be related to maintenance and operations. Requirements: • Ability to communicate effectively with membership and staff. • Willing to use personal basic tools (specialty tools will be provided). • Willing to work nights and weekends as needed (first shift is the norm). Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED • Tech school or higher education is a plus. • Pool experience a plus. • Plumbing experience is a plus. • Carpentry experience is a plus. • Electrical experience is required. jCURiWJuAY
