HVAC Technician

Immediately hiring a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician with 5–7 years of hands-on experience to join our growing service team. Pay is up to $40/hr. based on experience. Position has growth opportunities. Schedule is Mon-Fri The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostics, repairs, and tune-ups for HVAC systems and will demonstrate a clear understanding of CPS rebate programs. Must be EPA Universal 608 certified and hold a valid Texas TDLR license. HVAC Technician duties: • Perform service, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a wide range of commercial and residential HVAC systems • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and system tune-ups with a focus on energy efficiency and system performance • Ensure systems are operating in compliance with CPS Energy rebate standards; document and assist in qualifying systems for rebates • Complete detailed service reports, including recommendations for upgrades or repairs • Communicate effectively with property managers and building owners regarding system conditions and service recommendations • Maintain a clean, organized work area and company vehicle • Safely use hand and power tools to service HVAC equipment • Follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all job sites • Participate in regular training and updates on industry changes and rebate program updates Requirements: • 5-7 years HVAC experience • Valid EPA Universal 608 certification – Required • Active TDLR HVAC license – Required • Proficiency in system tune-ups and preventive maintenance • Working knowledge of CPS rebate requirements or willingness to learn quickly • Must own and maintain basic hand and power tools • Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills • Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship • Valid driver's license and clean driving record • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in various commercial environments, including rooftops • Experience submitting or processing utility rebate documentation in the manifold • Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS/BMS) is a plus • NATE certification is a plus Please call/text 210-664-2680 #vipstaffing Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
