HVAC/Chiller Technician Job Description Position Overview: Are you a skilled Chiller Technician ready to advance your career with a market leading manufacturer? Key Responsibilities: • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high satisfaction levels. • Provide technical support for indoor and outdoor HVAC equipment/chillers. • Perform startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance. • Diagnose and resolve operational issues on-site, by phone, or through remote connections. • Educate customers on equipment operation and maintenance. • Complete installations and ensure work meets company standards. • Respond to emergency customer calls (on-call approximately one week every 1-2 months). • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition. • Recommend repair or replacement solutions to customers. • Monitor and maintain chiller systems effectively. • Utilize head office technical support for complex troubleshooting. • Promote add-on services and service agreements. • Assist with additional duties as required. Required Qualifications: • Minimum 4 years of HVAC field experience (chiller experience preferred). • Experience with Turbocor/magnetic bearing systems is an asset. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
