HVAC Technician

POSITION TITLE: HVAC Technician POSITION PURPOSE: The HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Technician is responsible for installation, maintenance and repairs of various HVAC systems across multiple job sites. This includes tasks such as installing, diagnosing, and repairing air conditioning units, furnaces, ventilation systems, and related equipment. This position will also perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure systems operate efficiently and safely. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required, as travel between job sites is a regular part of the role. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Installation: Assembling and installing HVAC components such as motors, controls, and piping using hand and power tools. Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance, cleaning, and adjustments on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns. Repair: Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems, including replacing parts and components. Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues with HVAC systems, using diagnostic tools and equipment. Compliance: Ensuring all work is completed according to safety standards, regulations, and manufacturer guidelines. Customer Service: Communicating effectively with customers to explain issues, recommend solutions, and provide excellent service. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including parts used, time spent, and any recommendations made. EDUCATION: High School YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 2-4 Years About the Department: The Guess?, Inc. Facilities department is looking for a hardworking individual to join their team. The department handles everything on campus, from tenant improvement construction projects to overseeing the security of the campus, and from coordinating events with various departments to the onsite maintenance and repairs around the campus.
