HVAC Technician

Overview MUST BE WILLING TO OBTAIN FLSD LICENSE We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, including experience with ammonia refrigeration and the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role is essential for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency for a class A commercial building. Duties • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in commercial settings. • Troubleshoot issues with air conditioning units, heating systems, and refrigeration equipment. • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical problems within HVAC systems. • Interpret schematics to understand system layouts and identify necessary repairs. • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate efficiently. • Provide field service support, responding promptly to service calls and customer inquiries. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects safely and effectively. Qualifications • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field of HVAC/R. • Strong knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is preferred. • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical schematics and manuals. • Familiarity with various HVAC tools and equipment, including ohmmeters. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a mechanical aptitude. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Valid driver's license may be required for field service duties. • Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC are a plus.
