Position Summary: We are currently seeking an experiencedHVAC Service Technicianwith a minimum of 5 years of field experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise working with rooftop units, boiler systems, and commercial refrigeration. This is a full-time, union position with rotating standby responsibilities every 5–6 weeks. Key Responsibilities: · Diagnose, repair, and maintain rooftop HVAC units, boilers, and refrigeration systems · Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service as required · Accurately document service calls and maintain detailed records · Work independently and as part of a team to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues · Participate in our on-call rotation (every 5–6 weeks), including availability on holidays and weekends · Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local codes, safety standards, and union regulations Qualifications: · Minimum 5 years of hands-on HVAC service experience · Strong knowledge of rooftop units, boiler systems, and refrigeration equipment · Membership in Pipefitters Local 597 or Sheet Metal Local 265 (or ability to join) · Excellent problem-solving skills and goal-oriented work ethic · Valid driver’s license and clean driving record · EPA certification (Type II or Universal) preferred What We Offer: · Competitive union wages and benefits · Ongoing training and development opportunities · Supportive, team-oriented work environment · Steady, year-round work with established clients · New Service vehicles Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.26 - $58.83 per hour Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week Benefits: • Company truck • Fuel card • Professional development assistance • Tools provided Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift • Holidays • Monday to Friday • On call • Overtime • Weekends as needed • Year round work Supplemental Pay: • Double time pay • Overtime pay Work Location: On the road
