HVAC/R Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HVAC systems and be capable of performing installation, maintenance, and repair tasks. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment in the field. The HVAC Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems operate efficiently and effectively. Duties • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial settings. • Read and interpret schematics and design specifications to ensure proper installation. • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues within HVAC units. • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC/R equipment. • Troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform necessary repairs on heating and cooling systems. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on equipment. • Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations. • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports. Qualifications • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar role within the HVAC/R industry. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to plumb and refrigerate systems. • Familiarity with schematics, design principles, and troubleshooting techniques. • Proficient in using various tools for equipment repair and maintenance. • Ability to work independently in the field while providing excellent customer service. • Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations are preferred. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
