Weare currently seeking a person who identifies strongly with our mission and core values to join our team inSeattle, WAas aHydroform Operatorin ourDefense division.This is an ideal role for someone who isdependable,has strong communication skills, has an understanding of quality system concepts and proceduresand who hasat least2 years of hydroforming experience. ***We currently have an opening in2nd shift (3:00 pm to 11:00 pm) Purpose: Independently set-up and operate hydroform and other machines to fabricate parts from metal sheets and plates. Responsibilities: β€’ Aligns work piece on machine. β€’ Basic use of calipers to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece. β€’ Lubricates parts in accordance with work instructions. β€’ Independently set-up and operates hydroform to fabricate parts. β€’ Independently set-up and operate punch press to form parts to specifications. β€’ Independently sets controls to regulate machining factors such as height setting and pressure gauges. β€’ Ability to detect and troubleshoot problems on machines. β€’ Dimensionally and visually inspects parts to ensure they meet customer's requirements. β€’ Keeps work area clean at all times following 5S methods. β€’ Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications per SOP set forth in our BMS. β€’ Confers with lead or supervisor to resolve machining problems and have the ability to communicate concerns with maintenance. β€’ Train employees in the machining profession with the willingness to further their education in technological advances. β€’ Adheres to production safety standards. β€’ Immediately notify supervisor and/or Safety Manager of any safety and health concerns and problems. β€’ Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: β€’ High School diploma, GED or equivalent. β€’ Minimum 2 years of hydroformingexperience preferred. β€’ Ability to carry-out instructions and give clear feedback. β€’ Ability to understand policies and procedures. β€’ Basic math skills. β€’ Basic computers skill preferred. β€’ Knowledge of quality system concepts and procedures. β€’ Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds. β€’ Ability to stand up to 8 hourswith standard rest-periods. β€’ Ability to perform work assignments requiring repetitive motions. β€’ Ability to work schedule as assigned.
