Job Description

We are looking for an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer who is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IAM systems to ensure the security and privacy of an organization's digital assets. Their primary duties include:

• Developing and implementing IAM solutions for identity provisioning, access control, authentication, and authorization

• Designing IAM workflows, policies, and procedures using tools like SailPoint

• Managing user lifecycle processes, including onboarding, off boarding, and role changes

• Implementing and maintaining identity federation solutions for single sign-on (SSO) across applications

• Conducting periodic access reviews and audits to maintain compliance with security policies and regulations

• Troubleshooting and resolving IAM-related issues and incidents

• Automating IAM processes to improve efficiency and security

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align IAM strategies with business goals

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in IAM concepts and protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and LDAP

• Experience with IAM solutions like CyberArk, SailPoint, Okta, or ForgeRock

• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or PowerShell

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

• Understanding of security concepts and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in IAM or related roles
Practical Experience

• At least 2 years of experience installing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise IAM infrastructure and related services

• Hands-on experience in systems integration and software engineering of IAM solutions

• Demonstrated use of Google Apps Manager (GAM) for managing G Suite identities.

• Utilization of Postman for API testing and integration in an IAM context.

• Proficiency with identity management tools, with specific skills in Okta, G Suite, and HRIS.

• Expertise in using Postman or similar tools for API development, testing, and automation.

• Strong scripting abilities (PowerShell, Python) for automating IAM tasks.

• Understanding of security practices as they apply to identity management.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Project management and business planning capabilities

• Ability to collaborate with different teams and stakeholders

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Relevant certifications in IAM or cybersecurity are beneficial

Additional Skills

• Experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

• Knowledge of additional programming languages (C#, C/C++)

• Familiarity with IAM architecture and integrations
