Your Role and Responsibilities

As a #zSecurity Delivery Consultant you will learn and experience how we apply technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery using consultative skills such as problem-solving / hypothesis-based methodologies communication and service orientation skills. As a member of IBM Technology Expert Labs Global Delivery Center #GDC you will be client focused courageous pragmatic and technical to optimize and trailblaze new solutions that address real business challenges.

To help achieve this win-win outcome a ‘day-in-the-life’ in this role may include but not be limited to…

• Working under limited supervision you will be helping clients implement systems with the highest level of data security commercially available

• Advising on built-in enterprise security capabilities and how to simplify complex operational security processes

• Providing security health checks and deployment across IBM Z and LinuxONE for all levels of Pervasive Encryption as well as providing assistance in the areas of auditing and compliance for standards such as PCI HIPPA GDPR

• Analyzing clients’ main challenges and supporting solutions development that help them transform mission-critical IBM Z applications for hybrid cloud environments with stability security and agility

• Ensuring accurate documentation of and delivery to the project scope and timeline alongside adherence to the zSecurity products’ implementation methodologies

• Demonstrating a natural bias towards self-motivation curiosity and initiative in addition to navigating data and people to find answers and present solutions

• Strong collaboration and communication as you work across the client partner and IBM team

• Supporting and participating in technical solution workshops.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 2 years experience working with a z/OS operating system and products

• At least 2 years experience working with knowledge of IBM RACF security product

• Basic knowledge of current security threats what to look for and how to mitigate them

• At least 1 years experience in client facing communications requirements analysis documentation creating presentations presenting to client staff and speaking at an executive level

• Basic knowledge of current security threats what to look for and how to mitigate them

• Basic knowledge of various security regulations such as HIPPA STIG PCI GDPR etc.

• Experience with compliance and audit generating secure reports to analyze and report on security events and detect security exposures.

• Good communication and presentation skills that are engaging compelling and influential.

• Ability to work independently and take accountability.

• A second European language beside good command of English is a must.

• B.S. in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3+ years experience working with various security regulations such as HIPPA STIG PCI GDPR etc.

• Deep technical knowledge of IBM Z Security Portfolio; including zSecure RACF Pervasive Encryption Crypto Express hardware and Central Processor Assist for Cryptographic Function (CPACF).

• Being familiar with z/OS SW & Z HW releases as it relates to advancing Z security solutions.

• Experience with compliance and audit generating secure reports to analyze and report on security events and detect security exposures.

• 1 year experience with Pervasive Encryption Crypto Express hardware and Central Processor Assist for Cryptographic Function (CPACF).ed Technical and Professional Experience

• 1 years experience with TKE

• 1 years experience with IBM Security Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager (prior knows as SKLM)

• Experience deploying and/or administering security for IBM z/OS

• In addition to the above experience the ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Dynamic team player who is comfortable working in a small but rapidly evolving environment.

• A passion for making a difference in their profession and the environment.

• Preferred second language: German French Spanish Italian

• M.S. in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering.
