The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

You are one of the subject matter experts for a next-generation Identity and Access Management team driving one or more core technologies. You will be responsible for designing supporting and upgrading the enterprise Identity and Access Management technologies and ensuring solutions and processes across the entire 3M Health Care Business Group are successful. Your scope extends through Enterprise systems Manufacturing Commercial Products R&D Business Development.

You are excited about shaping transformation in a large global company; to lay the groundwork for a secure design across a comprehensive footprint such as Identities of employees third parties customers partners non-human services / machines IoT devices servers applications network devices commercially sold medical devices and software data cryptography; across environments such as cloud on-premises third party hosted third party managed and co-location sites.

As a Identity Governance Lead Security Engineer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here you will make an impact by:

• Acting as technical lead for the IGA practice including design deploy and support.

• Driving technical roadmaps for the service offering

• Producing documentation Knowledge base articles and reporting & improvement of critical metrics

• Owning analyzing strengthening the overall security posture of the Identity and Access team

• Designing and participating in security incident response plans

• Strong scripting and development skills with the ability to design code debug implement and support automation efforts in the IGA space.

• Strong communication skills with experience collaborating with many teams to complete projects and resolve issues.

• Experience with working with external compliance requirements remediation and reporting for SOX HIPAAPA PCI and others.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex problems

• Ability to easily adapt and implement new technologies as the security and technology evolve.

• Education and mentoring other team members and the user base related to the Identity governance systems.

To set you up for success in this role from day one Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 10 years of Related IAM Information systems Security experience.

OR

• High School Diploma/GED from AND 14 years of Related IAM Information systems Security experience.

And

In addition to the above requirements the following are also required:

• 7 years' experience supporting large enterprise Identity governance solutions such as Sailpoint Identity Now (IDN) and/or Okta IGA

• 5 Years of experience in scripting languages such as Powershell Python JavaScript

• 5+ Years of experience with API’s and integrating them into IAM solutions at an enterprise level

• Strong knowledge of IAM protocols such as SAML OAuth OpenID connect & LDAP

• 1+ year experience deploying & supporting Okta IGA such as Access Certifications Access Requests privileged access fine-grained life cycle management automation-driven integrated with OKTA’s Workflows Platform

• 1+ year experience deploying & supporting SailPoint IDN such as integrating with applications using SCIM/AD flat file ODBC including Request Center Access Identity Management Identity Profiles Access Model Certifications/Access-campaigns privileged access event triggers automation-driven integrated with SailPoint’s Workflows Platform.

• Proven ability to work independently in remote roles with ability to act as a technical lead to others.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Microsoft or Okta Certifications

• At least 1 year experience Implementing supporting Okta integrations with Entra ID AD

• Proven ability to work independently in remote roles with ability to act as a technical lead to others.

• Advanced scripting skills including Python and API calls.

• Remote USA

Travel: May include up to 10%

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $183301 - $224034 which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant knowledge training skills work location and/or experience.
