Immediate Infectious Disease Fellowship Opportunity – Southern Hills Hospital, Las Vegas, NV

Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada is home to the first ACGME-accredited Infectious Disease Fellowship Program in the state.

We recently launched our inaugural class and matched an outstanding fellow. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen personal circumstances, our fellow resigned—creating an opening for immediate entry into our program.

This isn’t just a vacant spot. It’s an invitation to step into a fully supported role in a brand-new program in the HCA Healthcare Graduate Medical Education Family (the largest provider of GME in the United States)—where you’ll receive dedicated 1:1 mentorship and help shape the learning experience of the program to tackle the challenges of modern medical education.

• All-eyes-on-you training model: As our only fellow, your education is our sole focus.
• Academic leadership experience: Take the lead in teaching, rounds, and QI projects—your impact will be immediate and visible.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Eligible to begin ACGME-accredited ID fellowship training immediately (onboarding ideally within 3 weeks)
• Motivated, flexible, and eager to help build something meaningful
• Passionate about ID and committed to academic excellence
• Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor visas at this time
