Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Implementation Engineer to join our team in San Antonio. In this role, you will be the pivotal link between DocBox and our hospital clients, responsible for planning, installing, and configuring DocBox solutions following a new sale.
As the primary technical contact, you will engage directly with hospital stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration into existing infrastructure and providing a best-in-class customer experience. This position blends technical expertise, project management, and customer-facing communication in the fast-paced, mission-critical environment of healthcare IT.

Key Responsiblities
Project Planning & Coordination
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define installation needs andrequirements.
• Conduct pre-installation surveys and develop comprehensive site installation plans.
• Work with hospital operations, engineering, and clinical staff on hardwareplacement, security protocols, and support procedures.
Technical Implementaion & Configuration
• Lead technical discussions to determine integration requirements within hospitalinfrastructure.
• Configure software settings and customize report layouts for clinical staff.
• Manage system setup, integration testing, and configuration tasks to ensure fullfunctionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the implementation process.
Customer Success & Training
• Ensure each implementation meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Deliver or coordinate technical training for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Apply DocBox best practices to drive adoption, satisfaction, and long-term success.
Qualifications and Skills
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, ComputerScience, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of professional experience in software/hardware implementation, ITintegration, or healthcare technology.
• Working knowledge of Linux command line and SQL.
• General understanding of IT systems, networking, and data security principles.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with technical and clinical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of quantum engineering principles is essential.
Preferred
• Experience in a hospital or clinical setting, especially critical care (ICU).
• Familiarity with medical devices and hospital information systems (EMR, PACS, LIS, etc.).
• Previous experience supporting system integrations in healthcare environments.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
