Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Import/Export Specialist to join our team. As part of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will play a crucial role in our global operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and optimizing logistics processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the import and export of pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and review shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery and clearance of shipments.
  • Monitor changes in international trade regulations and pharmaceutical guidelines, ensuring the company's operations remain compliant.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as procurement, quality assurance, and supply chain, to align import-export activities with business goals.
  • Manage and optimize logistics and transportation processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to shipping, customs clearance, or documentation discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all import-export transactions and prepare regular reports for management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in import-export operations within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and pharmaceutical compliance standards (e.g., GMP, GDP).
  • Proficiency in logistics management systems and trade compliance software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Meticulously dedicated to maintaining a standard of excellence.
  • Proficiency in English; familiarity with additional languages is advantageous.
