You are:
The Incident Responder/Computer Forensics Specialist. You will responsible for
- monitoring and analyzing network traffic, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), security events and logs
- Prioritizing and differentiating between potential intrusion attempts and false alarms
- Develop, maintain, and follow SOC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support daily and monthly situation reporting per shift
- Proactively reviewing large data sets for anomalous activity
- Create detective content for monitoring devices such as IDS and SIEM and advise on proactive blocks for security architecture
- Creating and tracking security investigations to resolution
- Composing security alert notifications and other communications
- Advising incident responders in the steps to take to investigate and resolve computer security incidents
- Staying up to date with current vulnerabilities, attacks, and countermeasures

Qualifications
You have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Cyber Security related field or five years of equivalent experience
- 1+ year of experience in conducting incident response functions including but not limited to host-based analysis functions through investigating Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X systems to identify Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).
- Incident Response experience: developing tune requests, investigating APT related activities, updating SOPs, and improving processes.
- Experienced in reporting and dissemination of prepared incident reports of analysis methodology
- You have one or more of the following certifications: SAN/GIAC ,GCIH, GCIH, GREM, GCED, GCDA, CISSP, CEH, Security+, CySA+, OR SSCP
- U.S. Citizenship
