Independent Construction Day Laborer

Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Independent Contractor to join our team. This role is essential for executing various construction projects, ensuring quality workmanship, and adhering to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in construction and related fields, demonstrating proficiency in both hands-on tasks and project management. Responsibilities • Execute construction/assignment tasks including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and masonry. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction activities. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. • Collaborate with project managers and other contractors to coordinate work schedules and project timelines. • Perform concrete forming, finishing, and restoration tasks as required. • Engage in home service projects including flooring installation, tile/brick laying, electrical work, gas line work, roofing, trenching, landscaping, concrete, etc. • Operate heavy equipment safely when necessary for specific tasks. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site. Qualifications • Proven experience in construction management or related fields. • Strong skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, roofing, glass installation, door hanging, hardscape, concrete forming/finishing, masonry, welding, and restoration. • Experience with various hand tools and power tools essential for construction tasks. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
