Independent Contractors/ Appliance Delivery Driver

Join our team!!! Hiring Independent Contractors for our Newark, CA warehouse. We are a Delivery Service Partner to one of the largest Home Improvements Department Stores looking for full-time contractors who are dependable, reliable, & can perform a physical job while working independently. Overtime available every day except for Sundays. Our Delivery Drivers drive 26ft. box trucks delivering home appliances and installing them in the Rancho Cordova, CA area. Job Expectations: • Expect to work approximately 8-12 hours per day. • Deliver anywhere between 15 – 20 deliveries per day. • Operate the handheld device provided and ensure all deliveries are fulfilled. • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with customers and local store associates. Job Requirements: • Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. • Must own 26ft Box Truck(s) • Must have 2 Person Team per Truck • Must have proof of Insurance - Details can be discussed with Francisco Neito • Must have professional appliance installation experience • Must pass our background check - Operator and Helper • Must provide own tools. • Ability to lift to 100 lbs or more • Have customer service & problem-solving skills. • Be a team player. • Box Truck Operators must have DOT Card #INDNC Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $650.00 per day Shift: • 10 hour shift • 12 hour shift • Day shift • Morning shift Work Days: • Every weekend • Monday to Friday • Weekends as needed Work Location: On the road
