Job Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the food industry,particularly in Indian cuisine.As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, menu planning, and ensuring that all food preparation meets our high standards of quality and safety. Your leadership skills will be essential in managing the kitchen staff and maintaining an efficient workflow. Duties • Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service. • Plan and design menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. • Oversee food production processes to maintain high standards of quality. • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. • Train kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation. • Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment. • Assist in catering events as needed, ensuring exceptional service delivery. • Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements where necessary. Qualifications • Proven experience in culinary roles within the restaurant or hospitality industry. • Strong background in fine dining, catering, or banquet service is preferred. • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management and shift management. • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling. • Proficient in menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen management. • Excellent cooking skills with a creative approach to food presentation. • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and guests. • Culinary degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
