Industrial Electrician – Journeyman Licensed Garland, Texas | Full-Time | Direct Hire $29–$38/hr + Overtime (OT pay: 1.5x Sat, 2x Sun) Are you a licensed Journeyman Electrician looking for a stable, long-term opportunity in an industrial manufacturing environment? Why You’ll Want This Job • Competitive pay: $29–$38/hr, based on experience • Overtime pay: Time and a half on Saturdays; double time on Sundays • Benefits start almost immediately, including medical, dental, and vision coverage • Paid time off and holidays • Retirement plans and company-paid certifications • Job Security Key Responsibilities • Lay out electrical conduit runs, pull wire, and make electrical connections in a professional manner using electrical schematics • Troubleshoot any electrical problems • Replace faulty components • Perform rework as required • High voltage terminations for up to 7,200 volts • Detect and report defective materials, faulty operation, and unusual conditions to immediate Supervisor • Follow prescribed safety regulations / guidelines • Perform other duties as required or directed including assembly Occasional, Infrequent • Train new hires • Complete appropriate paperwork for rejected parts • Return leftover parts to Warehouse • Chase parts and fill in necessary paperwork Schedule • Full-time, weekday schedule • Monday – Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm • Weekend overtime available • Requirements • Journeyman Electrician License (required) • Industrial/manufacturing electrical experience • Ability to work safely with low and high voltage systems • Knowledge of conduit, motor starters, and megging equipment • Strong attention to safety and detail Benefits • Medical, dental, and vision insurance starting almost immediately • Paid time off (18 days of PTO, 6 sick days, 2 personal days) • 10 paid holidays • 401(k) retirement savings plan with unlimited contribution and 6% company match • Paid training and certifications Location • Garland, TX • Reliable transportation required; free onsite parking available • Not accessible via public transit
