Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical systems, particularly within an industrial construction environment. TDLR Journeyman's license is mandatory. This role involves working with various electrical components, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and collaborating with project teams to deliver high-quality results. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. • Utilize construction management software for project scheduling and documentation. • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and industry standards. • Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate work schedules and resolve issues on-site. • Perform electrical troubleshooting using tools like an ohmmeter to diagnose issues effectively. • Assist in budgeting and estimating costs for electrical projects, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines. • Supervise junior electricians or apprentices as needed, providing guidance on best practices and safety protocols. Experience • Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role within the construction industry. • Familiarity with construction management software is desirable. • Strong understanding of construction site operations, project scheduling, and contract management. • Experience in quality control processes related to electrical installations and maintenance. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately, with a keen eye for detail in construction estimating. • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices in industrial environments is essential. • Supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities in managing teams effectively.
