Industrialization Manager

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Industrialization Manager.

What you'll do:

Job summary

This role is a key leader of cross-functional teams that drive NPD projects to meet all Eaton policies and requirements. Coordinate with the Design Managers all the support required to validate the design from the point of view of Industrialization, prototyping of components and also functional product for its subsequent evaluation, coordinate with the Plant all the resources to achieve the goals related to the launch of new products. Coordinate all capital investment for new products, ensuring addition to PP on time and also ensuring all capital is spent according to plan.Ensure the correct selection of equipment and part processes. Making sure the program manager is hitting all defined milestones for launching a new product and making sure the Pro launch is being used correctly. Ensure that NPD QE is working together with IE, PM and implement in early stages of NPD the Quality Strategy.

Job responsibilities

"• Manage Industrialization Team for release New Product Development (NPD)
• Establishes objectives and goals and provides direction all teams in charge
• Make sure all policies are being stablish by the differente people of the team (EBS, EHS, Pro lauch, CI )
• Coordinate and monitoring Capital Expenses of NPD LIPE ensuring expense on time
• Industrial safety and environmental regulations and practices
• Make sure NPD projects achive GATE acoording with the plan
• Project Manager (based on PROLaunch)
• Experience in the application of Lean Management Systems/Tools and Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) and methodologies, including structured problem-solving concepts/tools (EBS tools)
• Production planning, scheduling, purchasing, and inventory control
• Monitoring engeering budget and keep under forecast

Qualifications:

Education level required

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering

Years and area of experience required

• 10+ years of engineering experience, at least 3 years working with NPD, at least 2 years manager of people

Technical knowledge

• Industrialization, Tooling, Machinery, Quality, Pro Launch, PM, Rubber injection molding is a must, Assembly Products.
• Electrical industry
• Fully bilingual (english/spanish)
