Under minimal supervision the Information Management Analyst will drive and support information management initiatives and best practice implementation. This Trusted Expert role is responsible for executing and supporting Discount Tireβs Information Lifecycle Management team operations. Key responsibilities include maintaining the enterprise data map, classification and retention policies, and mechanisms to enable and monitor program compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
β’ Develop and maintain enterprise policies and standards to facilitate best practice data and information management, including but not limited to data classification, use, retention, and lifecycle management.
β’ Drive and support the development of business-level best practices to adhere to data and information management policies, including but not limited to personal data processing, email, chats, meeting recordings and other media.
β’ In collaboration with IT, drive and support the establishment, management, and monitoring of privacy and information management controls (e.g., classification, sensitivity, retention labeling)
β’ Monitor and facilitate compliance with legal and regulatory requirements & data management policies through use and administration of dedicated program tools
β’ Administrate program tools for data mapping, classification, retention, and investigations as appropriate
β’ Develop training materials for the identification and management of confidential, personal, privileged, or other protected data assets to facilitate legal, regulatory, and enterprise program compliance
β’ Support the development of communications and materials for training and awareness activities for the organization (e.g., onboarding, annual training)
β’ Facilitate program adoption through a network of Information Liaisons (i.e., stewardship), organizing and leading meetings
β’ Provide Trusted Expert guidance to business teams to meet their information management needs, support data valuation, and make recommendations for the improvement of information assets lifecycle management
β’ Sustain the records and information retention schedule, including maintenance process, user training, and adoption
β’ Provide subject matter expertise for the appropriate management of digital and physical data assets as required in collaboration with owning Business Segments
β’ Participate actively as a SME on data management focused teams and working groups
β’ Assess privacy and information management business practices and make periodic reports with improvement recommendations to leadership and relevant stakeholders
β’ Identify, build, monitor, and analyze ILM processes and metrics, i.e., gauges, with intent for continuous improvement
Qualifications:
β’ This position requires a minimum of three yearsβ experience in data management, information management, privacy, or records and information management.
β’ A privacy or information-related certification, or progress toward obtaining such credential, is strongly desired, such as CIP, CIPP/US, CIPT, CRM, IGP
β’ Experience with privacy or information management policy development, such as classification, retention, or Privacy-by-design
β’ Experience with information management technologies, features, and implementation
β’ Experience engaging with business partners to identify, classify, and manage information and to apply proper policies to information regardless of location or format
β’ Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect and upholding Company values are key attributes
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's in a related field or equivalent experience.
Work Days:
Normal workdays are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.
Work Hours:
Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be necessary. Local Travel is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
β’ Maintain the records retention schedule; perform administrative duties related to the systematic and physical maintenance of records; monitor systems compliance
β’ Research, analyze and recommend updates and fixes for the Records Management System
β’ Partner with stakeholders to understand organizational records management concerns; identify recordkeeping risks and recommends Records Information Management (RIM) program enhancements
β’ Trouble-shoot and resolve records management system issues; ensure compatibility with company operating systems. Escalate complex issues to Sr Technical Analyst
β’ Monitor and maintain Records Management governance with company operating systems including, but not limited to, policies, procedures, guidance, systems and toolkits; facilitate the consistent application of records management principles within the organization
β’ Track Legal Preservation Orders at direction of attorneys
β’ Ensure the security and preservation of records in storage in collaboration with information security stakeholders
β’ Stay current on the latest industry technologies, trends and strategies
β’ Assist employees, vendors or other customers by answering questions related to RIM procedures and services
β’ Complete work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service

Qualifications:
β’ This position requires a minimum of three years records management experience, with a thorough understanding of the issues associated with long-term retention of electronic records.
β’ Demonstrated knowledge of privacy and data security regulations is needed.
β’ Must have an understanding of technology and company computer systems sufficient to evaluate, recommend and implement technology to support the Records Management Program.
β’ Intermediate level computer experience, including skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint and Visio, is necessary
β’ Ability to identify problems, review information to develop and evaluate options then recommend solutions is essential
β’ Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization is necessary; must be able to clearly articulate technical ideas to a non-technical audience both verbally and in writing
β’ Customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude is essential.
β’ Demonstrated business acumen with knowledge and understanding of business issues, priorities, goals and strategy is necessary.
β’ In addition, troubleshooting, organizational and problem solving skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.
β’ Ability to work independently and in a team is vital.
β’ Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines and present a professional demeanor is essential.

Educational Requirements:
β’ This position requires a high school diploma or GED.
β’ Certified Records Manager or Information Governance Certification is preferred. Records Management Certification or Designation is preferred (CRM, CRA or other industry designation or certification.)
