The Information Security Analyst plays a key role on the bank’s information security team. The Analyst will assist the Director of Information Security with review and execution of all components of the bank’s Information Security Program including monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents; performing email security reviews; and conducting risk assessments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security concepts, an ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives, and excellent problem-solving skills. We are looking for someone that thrives in a fast paced environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist with risk assessments as well as control testing to identify issues and work with team members to identify solutions to mitigate gaps or findings.
2. Key stakeholder in the execution of data management and data loss prevention processes.
3. Monitor and assess emails for malicious attachments.
4. Support training initiatives for bank employees to raise awareness for information security issues. This includes managing social engineering testing.
5. Document security incidents and assist in evaluation, communication, and documentation of issues and incidents.
6. Support investigations related to phishing, malware, and insider threats.
7. Monitor and audit systems and processes.
8. Participate in on-call duty roster.
9. Review log files and security reporting for anomalous activity.
10. Participate in technical and non-technical projects requiring information security oversight and to ensure policies, procedures and standards are met.
11. Stay abreast of emerging security threats, trends, and technologies and provide recommendations to senior management for security improvements.
12. Compliance with any and all BSA/AML/CFT and Sanctions requirements set forth by Bank Policy and Procedure, including but not limited to timely completion of assigned training.
SECONDARY DUTIES
1. The position performs duties specific to the position and other functions as assigned by management.
2. May assist with consuming and evaluating threat intelligence to understand threats that could potentially impact the bank or bank products.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position is not responsible for the supervision of staff.
ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
The incumbent is in a non-confined office setting in which they are free to move about at will. In the course of performing the duties and responsibilities of this position spends time writing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 25 pounds), sitting, typing on a computer keyboard, and standing, kneeling and reaching.
The incumbent for this position may operate any or all of the following: telephone, copy and fax machine, adding machine, computer and related printers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
These specifications are guidelines based on the minimum experience required to perform the essential functions of the job. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in information security, financial services experience is preferred.
• Adaptable, with excellent prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Technical and functional knowledge in information security, networking, third party risk management, and governance.
• Knowledge of security technologies (encryption, data protection, design, identity and access management, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint security.)
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with Technology, Information Security, and Business stakeholders.
• This position requires at minimum CompTIA Sec+ Certification. More advanced certifications including but not limited to CISSP, CISA, CISM, or GIAC certifications may serve as a substitute for the CompTIA Sec+ requirement. If selected candidate does not have certification they will be required to achieve the certification within 90 days of hire.Stellar Benefits:
