Summary
The Information Technology Division is responsible for the planning, development and management of the information technology systems and subsystems that support DC Courts’ case flow, office automation, special programs, and management operations. The Information Security Engineer serves as a senior specialist in systems security and safeguards the Court's data and systems from unauthorized access, alteration or compromise.

Conditions of Employment
- Background and security investigation are required.
- A probationary period of one (1) year must be successfully completed.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma/GED plus seven (7) years of experience in security architecture, systems engineering and data communications. Experience in threat analysis, risk management, configuration management, business continuity and contingency planning is required.
The incumbent should be an enthusiastic and engaged professional who enjoys working with a diverse group of Court personnel and customers and lives the DC Courts’ values of Accountability, Excellence, Fairness, Integrity, Respect, and Transparency.
Documentation of education must be submitted with your application or your application will not be considered.
Please note that authorization for the release of your adult criminal record revealing any convictions and forfeitures, and any criminal cases currently pending before the courts are required. Â If you are selected for the position, a criminal history records check will be conducted.
Education
