About the role
We are seeking someone with deep exposure to multiple aspects of healthcare (incl. payer and provider) and experience in identifying and defining data assets, and creation and execution of processes and procedures to leverage and maintain those data assets . You will work closely with business leaders and stakeholders holders to identify and define precisely and unambiguously - business and clinical definitions represented by the data stored in various operational systems at Included Health.

What you'll be doing...
- Review and analyze business and clinical definitions of key metrics and required data elements as implemented in current reports and reporting systems.
- Engage with business and clinical leaders to elicit business definitions and requirements from customer, business and operational perspectives.
- Identify gaps, overlaps and inconsistencies across multiple definitions
- Work with the key stakeholders to evolve a consensus and establish a common view on various definitions.
- Work to resolve differences and influence alignment across the stakeholders.
- Partner with the Information Modeling team to ensure faithful translation into a logical information model.
- Partner with the Information Quality Lead to ensure enforcement of these definitions and checking of these definitions during and after data acquisition.
- Identify Assets with their data domains and create processes for ownership and maintenance of the data assets.
- Monitor data usage and provide insight into how and where teams can use data to help decision making.
- Ensure compliance and security of data.
What makes you a great fit...
- A pleasing personality and experience in facilitation of contentious business and clinical conversations and negotiation of consensus across individuals and teams.
- Experience in defining data, identifying assets within their data domains, and creation of process and procedures with access controls to monitor adherence.Â
- Deep exposure and knowledge of clinical, claims and benefit data and other types of healthcare data.
- Knowledge of the Healthcare Ecosystem and Use Cases - e.g., Care Workflows, Careplans, Prior Auth, Population Health, Segmentation/Stratification, Risk Computation, etc.
- (Preferred) Exposure to Terminology Standards such as ICD10, CPT, Snomed, LOINC, RXNorm, ERGs, RERGs, DRGs
- (Nice to have) Experience with Clinical Information Models - FHIR, OMOP, Pcorenet
