Infrastructure Specialist - Azure DevOps

Introduction
In this role you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

The infrastructure running industries likes transportation energy insurance banking or healthcare is quickly changing as the world’s relationship with technology evolves. Companies have more choices than ever before between on-premise off-premise or a hybrid approach. Our Infrastructure Specialists are responsible for keeping up with these latest and greatest of these changes and using their expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and products.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Infrastructure Specialist you directly support clients to transform their business by addressing with innovative solutions their System and Infrastructure needs.
You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM and non-IBM Cloud and on-premises platforms. In your role you will be responsible to manage cloud infrastructure or action for move to cloud implementation; moreover acting as a technical serving as a liaison among IT Architect IT Analyst technical resources and project stakeholders.
Following a well structured implementation process you would be able to work with customer’s requirement gathering understand risks and client’s painful carry out a PoC implementation route the development toward a solution baseline implementation.
Your work will power IBM and its clients globally bringing innovation into enterprise systems. You will have access to the latest education tools and technology and a career path within the world’s technology leader company.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
As a Infrastructure Specialist we are looking for candidates with the following background and skills:
• Understanding Cloud Component services in Computer Storage Networking and Monitoring of Applications.
• Performs Infrastructure as code provisioning and creation of sandbox environment.
• Administration of hybrid cloud environment Configuration of HA/DR.
• Understand of DevOps practices
• Good interpersonal communication skills and intermediate knowledge of English language

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
In particular are very appreciated:
• Certifications in Azure ( also AWS Google IBM Cloud)
• Competencies in automation coding such as ansible terraform and in managing versioning such as Git GitHub
• Competencies about Infrastructure as Code

Availability to travel is an additional mandatory prerequisite.
