Job Summary
The Injection Molding Supervisor is responsible for leading and supporting production teams to ensure safe operations, consistent quality, and efficient manufacturing processes. This role oversees daily injection molding activities, enforces company policies, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
Injection Molding Supervisor Responsibilities:
• Ensure the safety of all team members within the assigned area.
• Monitor product quality and ensure defects remain within company standards.
• Verify compliance with working and inspection instructions.
• Enforce company rules, policies, and procedures.
• Identify risks that could disrupt production flow and take proactive steps to address them.
• Implement and support Kaizen and other continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain and update production visual management boards, track issues, and follow up on resolutions.
• Accurately monitor productivity by reviewing tally sheets and other tracking tools.
• Anticipate and respond to potential disruptions in the production process.
• Support additional projects and assignments as directed by management.Injection Molding Supervisor Experience & Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes; injection molding experience preferred.
• Knowledge of TPS (Toyota Production System) or other lean manufacturing practices.
• Effective leadership skills with the ability to develop and guide team members.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Injection Molding Supervisor Key Competencies:
