Injection Molding Technician

Job Position: Molding Location: Arlington, TX 76011 Pay Rate: $17-$23 Description: The Injection Molding Technician is responsible for supporting the daily operation of molding machines to ensure production of high-quality parts. Under the supervision of the Molding Supervisor, this technician sets up, monitors, and maintains injection molding equipment, ensuring efficient operation and adherence to safety and quality standards. Position will require candidate to train on 1st shift and then move to 2nd shift from 2pm-10pm. Key Responsibilities: • Set up workstations and ensure all production materials are available. • Operate, monitor, and maintain molding machines and related equipment (e.g., dryers). • Perform product and equipment testing as required and accurately record data. • Visually inspect molded parts for quality and compliance with specifications. • Identify and report part or equipment defects to supervisor for prompt resolution. • Maintain accurate machine and production logs. • Calibrate tools and instruments as needed. • Replenish materials and supplies to minimize downtime and waste. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures. • Participate in team activities such as Safety Task Forces and Quality Circles. • Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: • Ability to occasionally lift or relocate cartons/containers up to 45 pounds. • Must be able to stand for extended periods with frequent bending, reaching, and twisting. • Good hand dexterity and grip strength for handling equipment and materials. • Visual acuity requirements include close vision, distance vision, color perception, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
