Injection Molding Technician

• Position Summary Responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process including set-up, troubleshooting, process development and process adjustments and maintenance. Job Responsibilities– will include but not limited to: • Responsible for removing, installing and setting-up the molds on machines. • Responsible for creating, adjusting and optimizing the process settings • Work with production personnel, provide required training and directions to ensure the efficiency and quality of products. • Responsible for the proper handling and preventive maintenance of injection molds and machines. • Coordinate with machine shop or outside vendors regarding emergency maintenance and repairs of tooling and equipment. • Responsible for planning, managing and maintaining proper inventories of raw materials and molded products. • Optimize process settings to increase productivity, quality and consistency of injection molded parts, reduce reject. • Follow and enforce safety rules and regulations, housekeeping and good shop practices within the manufacturing area. Required Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent training in plastics processing. • Minimum of 5 years hands-on work experience in Injection Molding industry. • Must speak English and Spanish.
