Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator.

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate printing equipment, in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures.
• Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
• Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
• Check paper for type, size, color and quantity.
• Visually inspect forms throughout run for quality
• Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary, reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
• Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment.

You Must Have:

• Good verbal communication skills are required to interact with vendors and internal staff
• Decision making skills based on production needs
• Ability to visually recognize colors and formulate inks
• Knowledge of press room and order flow
• Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions
• Ability to establish/maintain positive working relationships with co-workers
• Ability to lift 45 pounds several times daily

We Would Also Prefer:

• 1+ years in manufacturing
