Job Description
This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape a newly developing Palliative Care program at UMMC. The Physician Assistant in this role will cover inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic and serve as the primary clinical provider with remote physician support. This is a highly autonomous position that will play a central role in expanding access to palliative services in the region.
LOCATION: United Memorial Medical Center, Batavia Medical Campus

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Days; Monday-Friday
- Prior experience in Palliative Care strongly preferred; candidates with backgrounds in Oncology, Critical Care, Pulmonary, Hospice, or Internal/Family Medicine with a strong interest in Palliative Care are encouraged to apply
- Self-motivated and confident practicing independently in a developing clinical environment
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Exceptional documentation skills and professional behavior

PAY RANGE $100,000.00 - $150,000.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
