Inserter Operator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Inserter Operator to join our team. As an Inserter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining high-speed automated mail inserting equipment to accurately assemble and prepare direct mail materials for distribution. Your precision, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of direct mail campaigns. RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to): All lawful directives of your supervisor or a member of Company management. • Operate high-speed automated mail inserting equipment to assemble direct mail materials according to job specifications and quality standards • Set up and adjust the inserting machine based on the specific requirements of each mail project, including folding, inserting, sealing, and addressing components • Monitor machine operations, inspecting finished products, and making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity • Load envelopes, inserts, and other materials into the machine, ensuring proper alignment, sequencing, and positioning • Perform routine maintenance tasks on the inserting equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts, to ensure optimal performance • Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions, making adjustments or contacting maintenance personnel for assistance when needed • Maintain accurate production records, including the number of pieces processed, rejected, or reworked, and report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor • Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment and prevent accidents • Assist with other mailroom tasks as needed, such as sorting mail, preparing shipments, and maintaining inventory of mailing supplies QUALIFICATIONS: • GED / High School Diploma. • Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing. • Ability to work a fast and continuous pace. • Able to work 12hrs shift. • Frequent lifting of objects up to 50 lbs.
