Role Overview:
Teachstone is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The focus of this role is on vetting and qualifying inbound leads to identify opportunities for new business. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the sales process, ensuring that Teachstone engages with the most promising prospects and continues to build impact in the early childhood education sector. The Inside Sales team works closely with our marketing and outside sales teams to ensure our client experience is meaningful at every interaction.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritize inbound leads from various channels, including website inquiries, webinar attendees, and marketing campaigns.
- Communicate with inbound leads via phone, email, and other channels to assess their interest in Teachstone's products and services.
- Provide detailed information about Teachstone's offerings, addressing inquiries and educating prospects on the value of our solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
- Conduct needs assessments to understand the specific requirements and pain points of potential clients.
- Closely collaborate with sales team partners to qualify leads and determine the most appropriate course of action to meet prospects’ needs.
- Document and maintain accurate records of all interactions and lead qualifications in the CRM system.
- Regularly update lead status, ensuring a smooth transition of qualified leads to the sales team.
- Meet quarterly and annual activity and performance objectives
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM (Salesforce)
- Collaborate with other sales team members to ensure alignment
Role Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inside sales, lead qualification, or a related role.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and do at all levels of an organization
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of inbound leads and tasks
- Experience using CRM systems and other sales tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Team player who shares problem-solving responsibilities with the team and offers creative responses to new challenges
Role Preferred Qualifications:
- Early childhood education experienceÂ
- BA/BS degree or equivalentÂ
- Salesforce experience
- Outreach experience
