Installation & Commissioning Field Service Engineer - Power Quality, Data Center

We are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer for UPS portfolio. You will work within local Country Service Unit, mainly working in large data centre projects. Provide a first-class service for the Eaton installed base products to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will be responsible for testing, commissioning, fault finding/repairs & Preventative Maintenance. You will offer support to the extended EMEA Service community through high level technical knowledge and experience in the field.

What you'll do:

• Responsible for overseeing Data centre commissioning, on behalf of Eaton Field Service in local country service unit.
• Provide the highest level of technical expertise in all Hyperscale commissioning activities.
• Support and train Local Field Service Engineers in such activities
• Manage key account technical escalations providing support including site visits, to engineers and customers alike, drive escalations to conclusion and provide feedback where necessary.
• Work closely with Project Managers, advising on commissioning considerations and assisting on selection of suitable engineers, carry out site visits as required.
• Maintain direct links with business units (factories) and act as focal point for all technical exchange regarding the commissioning procedures and testing.
• Manage sub-contractor teams.
• Perform Health & Safety audits of Field Service Engineer and subcontractors ensuring the high standards required by EATON are maintained.

Qualifications:

• Installer electrical background or suitable education/qualifications
• Proven years of experience in the field focusing on Data Centres/UPS

Skills:

• Three phase electrical installation and commissioning experience
• Programming of PLC control systems (Power Control, Generator Control, SCADA, or process control) an advantage
• Good understanding of switch panels and power distribution.
• Communication skills, customer Focus and flexibility
