About the Role
Window Treatment Installers aren't just people with drills and tools. They collaborate with designers to address potential installation issues, they communicate with the client prior-to and in the home, set up the space for installation and document the process before leaving the space. They are technologically advanced and know the methods of installing shutters, blinds, and shades. They are experts in relational communication and growth. Installers are supported by scheduling staff and master installers.
You Will Get To
β’ Perform in-home installations of custom Hunter Douglas window treatments; including honeycomb shades, roller shades, drapery, and shutters
β’ Learn motorization installation and programming techniques with state-of-the-art automated products
β’ Provide our clients with a boutique and memorable experience that drives reviews and referrals for future business
β’ Strategize and develop innovative plans to take the measurements from Designers and coordinate the best outcome for installations
β’ Prioritize your scheduled installation time to be efficient and productive
β’ Communicate and partner consistently with support teams (Logistics & Designers) while in the field
β’ Foster relationships with designers and clients that lead to continued satisfaction and improved team dynamics
Qualifications
β’ 2-3 years of construction, custom installation, or related experience preferred
β’ Experience with common hand tools, including but not limited to power drill, impact driver, and level
β’ Strong written and spoken communication skills
β’ Substantial customer service and in-home service experience
β’ Punctual, reliable, organized, detail oriented, and able to manage time to track workflow
β’ A strong understanding of technology with computers, mobile devices, and apps
β’ Active drivers license and insurable
β’ Must be able to lift heavy objects and transport them according to standard procedures
β’ High School diploma or equivalent is required, 4-year Degree is preferred

Career Growth
Advancement for qualified candidates will go through the Hunter Douglas apprentice program to become a Hunter Douglas Certified Master Installer, Master Shutter Installer and Motorization Specialist.

Schedule
β’ Full time position, with 8-9 hour shifts

Pay
Salary: $55,000-$75,000 per year (based on skills and experience)
Paid Training + Bonus Income through our in-house incentive program.
