Installer Reseda, CA Full time – Temp to hire Monday thru Friday – 7am to 3:30pm $18 to $32hr depending on experience. Busy manufacturer and installer of custom canopies and awnings for both commercial and residential is looking for Installers to join their team in Reseda. Summary: The Installers' basic function is to install products at the customer locations. The Installer must ensure that all work is performed to the customer's reasonable expectations. The Installer must ensure that installations are done according to specifications and to the highest quality levels. Responsibilities: • Install awnings, canopies, and support structures according to project specifications. • Frame aluminum and steel structures using saws, drills, rivet guns, and other hand and power tools. • Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and measurements. • Perform layout, cutting, and fitting of materials on-site or in the shop. • Ensure installations are level, square, and securely anchored. • Adhere to safety procedures, including the use of fall protection and PPE. • Operate lifts, ladders, and scaffolding when needed. • Load and unload materials; maintain tools and equipment. • Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure quality and efficiency. Qualifications: • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in framing, structural assembly, or awning installation. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements. • Proficient with power tools, hand tools, and fabrication equipment. • Strong understanding of job site safety practices and OSHA compliance. • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred. • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in varying conditions, and perform physical labor.
