Job Description
We are looking for an Instructional Designer to add to our team. The main focus in this role will be to develop video based training for our online academy. You will need strong communication and project management skills to work with both Experts and Product Managers to develop engaging and effective training content.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with SMEs and Product Managers to understand the content requirements and define learning objectives.
- Conceptualizing, scripting, storyboarding, and producing video-based training content tailored to the needs of our external audience.
- Ensuring that video content aligns with learning objectives, is visually appealing, and maintains high production quality standards.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to establish project timelines and deliverables.
- Managing multiple video content projects concurrently, from conception to completion.
- Incorporating review cycles with stakeholders to iterate and improve video content.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video/audio production and instructional design.
- Experience using video editing software and other multimedia tools to enhance training content (We have a preference toward Camtasia or Premiere Pro).
- Serve as an LMS admin for the video integration and content management you create.
- Contributing to the overall strategy and vision of the external academy through innovative video training approaches
- Voicing your opinion of addressing needed gaps and creating your own proposed solutions.
Requirements:
- Our preference is for a Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, or a related field. If you have experience in video production, graphic design or other related fields and you bring special talent to the role, let's have a conversation.Â
- Demonstrated passion for video production and storytelling.
- Knowledge of digital audio and recording best practices.Â
- Understanding of instructional design principles and learning theories.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with SMEs and Product Managers.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
- Experience with scriptwriting, storyboarding, and video production techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Creativity and attention to detail in creating visually engaging video content.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and video hosting platforms.
