Insurance Agency Customer Service Rep

POSITION OVERVIEW:$40000 per year to $55000 per year This position is in office in Northeastern Phoenix near Scottsdale AZ and is NOT remote The LicensedInsurance Customer Service Representative is an insurance account support specialist who supports customer needs for an independent insurance agency with an aggressive growth plan. This person works closely with our producers (sales team) and the Agency Manager. This person, when speaking with clients, will be exercising discretion and judgement on all manners of insurance policies and coverages for the client’s portfolios including making recommendations for additional coverages. In addition, they will be conducting customer policy review), managing customer renewals and handling customer insurance and claim complaints. Our ideal candidate will be experienced with supporting both internal and external customers. Core Duties and Responsibilities: • Assist agents in providing high quality customer support • Along with agents, conduct Customer Policy Reviews and assist with customer P&C policy renewals • As needed, recommend insurance coverages and applicable policies as applicable to customers • Respond and assist customer with claims inquires and act as liaison between customer and carriers • Responding to emails and customer service tasks • Customer retention calls • Sets appointments • Review current polices • Processes endorsements • Files client activities accurately and in a timely manner into agency management system • Provides quoting support to agents • Generates and distributes insurance certificates to clients • Maintains client files • Keeps record of all license renewals • Create and present renewal proposals to existing clients • Proofreads records, applications, and proposals • Maintain a quality service plan ensuring the accuracy of binders, policies, certificates, and other relevant documents • Fills out accord forms as needed for agents to quote • Inputs quotes on agency management system • Manage social media sites • Email production reports and work other weekly processes assigned • Other duties as assigned and as needed Minimum Qualifications: • Possess a current Property and Casualty License • Insurance customer service and/or sales agent experience with policy changes, inputting quotes, client files, and agency processes • 2 years’ experience with high volume inbound and outbound calls • High School diploma or equivalent required • 1 Year office/client facing experience • 3 years of excellent customer service experience • Attention to Detail • Organized • Team Player • Adaptability/Flexibility • Professional & Ethical • Microsoft Office • Problem Solving Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in using an agency management system (AMS 360) • Excellent computer/typing skills Employee Benefits Include: • Medical Plan • Dental Plan • Vision Plan • 401k • Employee Assistance Program • Live Health Online • Life Insurance • Disability • Supplemental Benefits • No waiting period to use accrued PTO • Training • Employee Assistance Program • Leadership Development Programs • National Discounts & much more!
