Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth handling of insurance policies. This position involves collaborating closely with clients, insurers, and internal teams to provide timely solutions and ensure an elevated level of satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
·Client Account Management:Assist managing a portfolio of personal or commercial insurance accounts, ensuring timely new business, updates, and accurate documentation.
·Case Management:Responsible for a high volume of inbound & outbound calls. Will manage high volume of cases assigned daily and will ensure to complete cases within SLA parameters.
·Policy Administration:Process service-related requests such as endorsements, cancellations, certificates of insurance, loss runs, and binders. CSR’s will manage daily tasks with policy changes, making endorsement changes such as adding or removing drivers or vehicles, ensure we have updated client profile information.
·New Business and Renewals:Routing to Retention Specialist or Producers to assist our clients in quoting, issuing new business, remarketing renewals, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling additional coverage.
·Customer Service:Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing guidance on coverage options, policy details, and claims processes.
·Documentation & Compliance:Prepare and maintain detailed records of client interactions, transactions, and communications. Ensure all insurance documents are accurately processed and compliant with company standards.
·Claim Support:The CSR’s will be first point of contact for clients claims and will provide educated and support on filing and managing these claims on behalf of our clients.
·Accounting:Complete follow up with clients that have non-pay cancelation. Provide education and seek payment remedy to policy cancelation.
·Problem Resolution:Resolve client issues and concerns in a professional and timely manner, escalating complex cases to higher management, as necessary.
·Collaboration: Work closely with insurance carriers, underwriters, and other internal teams to ensure optimal policy coverage and smooth service delivery.
• Relationship:Build strong working relationships with clients and brokers to identify, understand and address opportunities for improving sales and account retention
• Product Knowledge: Work with clients to ensure a knowledge of the various programs, carriers, and successfully service and retain client accounts and policies. Maintain knowledge and understanding for all Turbo’s product offerings, current rates, and compliance requirements to support the usage within the personal insurance market.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• 2+ years of customer facing service experience in general.
• ANY experience in account management experience specific to insurance is a PLUS.
• Ability to obtain Property & Casualty Insurance license within 60 days after hire OR already actively be licensed in Arizona.
Desired Characteristics:
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook
• Insurance, financial services and sales and/or marketing experience preferred.
• Sales and Account management experience
• Experience using a CRM tool such as Dynamic 365 & EZ Lynx.
• Knowledge of customer financial drivers/needs
• Openness to coaching and ability to learn quickly.
• Knowledge of de-escalation skills and seeking one call resolution to ensure a positive experience for our clients.
• Resourceful, creative, and flexible
• Client-driven mind set with ability to respond quickly to customer needs.
• Nurturing mentality, personality
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks at once while using a system of processes and protocols to ensure a standard is kept.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills (written, oral, non-verbal)

Compensation:
• This position is a salaried, full-time role with a starting salary of $50,000 plus quarterly performance bonuses, OTE totaling $60k for first year. Career path to $100k possible in three years.
