Position Summary
This unique role offers an exciting opportunity to blend foundational accounting responsibilities with hands-on project coordination for the seamless integration of new practice locations. This individual can manage accounting tasks while effectively facilitating communication and progress across various stakeholders. This role will be instrumental in ensuring successful and efficient new partner onboarding.Responsibilities:
β’ Serve as a primary point of contact for new partnerships and vendors.
β’ Proactively request and track the receipt of essential documents, such as W-9 and COI forms and vendor agreements.
β’ Forward-facing representative, building positive relationships with doctors and practice managers.
β’ Monitor and track the progress of integration milestones, identifying and escalating potential roadblocks.
β’ Prepare and deliver integration updates, coordinate resources and schedules, and assist with brand expense reconciliations during partner integrations.
β’ Perform accounting duties such as journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and other functions as requested.
β’ Contribute to the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP.
β’ Assist with purchase accounting entries and reconciliations.
β’ Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.Qualifications:
β’ 5+ years of overall accounting experience.
β’ Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines.
β’ Excellent attention to detail.
β’ Proficiency in journal entries.
β’ Foundational knowledge in accruals.
β’ Ledger account analysis experience.
β’ Solid understanding of month end closings.
β’ Experience working with Microsoft Office applications; intermediate to advanced level experience in Excel.
β’ Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and high growth environment.
β’ Excellent communication and organizational skills.
β’ Must have excellent time management skills.
β’ Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve challenges.
β’ Looks for opportunities and proposes solutions for improving efficiencies contributing to sustainability and scalability.
β’ Attends additional training as requested/deemed necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in accounting of finance.
β’ Prior experience in Sage Intacct accounting software.
β’ Purchase accounting experience.
