We are seeking an experienced Integration Layer Senior Specialist with a strong background in Java technology to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the integration layer of our terminal and lottery systems. This role requires a deep understanding of integration technologies, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do:

• You will develop integration solutions using Java technologies.

• You will implement and maintain middleware solutions to support seamless integration between various systems.

• You will ensure the integration layer is scalable, secure, and efficient.

• You will have the opportunity to be involved in the analysis and development of international projects about betting and social betting where the focus on performance is our main goal.

• You will integrate terminal and lottery systems with external partners and third-party services.

• You will develop APIs and web services to facilitate communication between different systems.

• You will monitor and optimize the performance of the integration layer.

• You will identify and resolve bottlenecks and performance issues.

• You will implement best practices for code optimization and system performance.

• You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, QA engineers, and system administrators.

• You will provide technical support and troubleshooting for integration-related issues.

• You will participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• You will document integration processes, designs, and solutions.

Who you are:

• You have at least 3 years of experience in Java development and integration

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• You have Strong knowledge of integration technologies and patterns (e.g., REST, SOAP, JMS, Kafka).

• You have Experience with middleware platforms and tools (e.g., Apache Camel, MuleSoft, Spring Integration).

• You have excellent knowledge of SpringBoot, Java, Maven, Git, and Kubernetes;

• You are proficient in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.

• You are familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• You are proficient in English both spoken and written;

• You are proactive, flexible, innovative, determined, and able to work with teams in several countries and parallel projects;

Preferably, you also have:

• Previous experience in Gaming companies or the lottery industry is preferable

• The Italian Language is nice to have.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and design is nice to have.

• Certification in Java development or integration technologies.
