We are currently looking for a motivated Intel System Engineer to join our Server and Storage Operations team. In this exciting role, you will work collaboratively with application engineers, integration engineers, system administrators/engineers, database administrators, network engineers, security engineers along with project and business management to implement, maintain and enhance existing Intel Server infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include operational stability, implementation, lifecycle management, vulnerability remediation and administration for Windows Servers that are used for hosting internal/external enterprise applications and sites. This role provides the opportunity to interact with skilled individuals, gain additional skills and grow your career within the team and enterprise.
Ideally this position will be located in Salt Lake City or Houston (hybrid in office/work from home) and is open to remote across the continental United States.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $125,000

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Engineer, integrate, design, automate, and deploy various Windows components
- Expert knowledge in Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server Operating Systems
- Create and maintain golden images for virtual machines using tools that include VMware, TrueSight Automation Console, Powershell, Active Directory, etc.
- Evaluate, improve, and maintain information security throughout the Windows infrastructure
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
- Ensure technical documentation exists for all systems and is kept up to date
- Document system configurations to include passwords, access controls, version number, and revision numbers, patch levels, and inventory to include hostnames, TCP/IP addresses, number of processors, and number of cores, memory, and license keys
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
- At least 5+ years of advanced knowledge of Windows Server architectures, system design, analysis, and performance management
- Have proficient understanding of networks, storage, and LAN/WAN systems and applications as well as their dependencies
- Working knowledge of Information Technology infrastructure components (firewall, database, operating system, network)
- Effectively communicate problems and solutions both verbally and in writing to internal customers and management.
- Problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.
- Provision/configure required security and configuration settings onto servers using TrueSight Automation and Active Directory
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification within the last three (3) years or must be able to obtain MCP certification within 6-months after hire date
- Use native, add on tools, and third-party tools to troubleshoot malfunctions, optimizations. Tools include Resource Kits, Development Kits, and commercial tools
- Requires a Bachelors in computer science, information systems or other related field and 2+ years programming, systems analysis or other directly related experience.
- A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
- Working knowledge of programming and systems analysis and related applications.
- Requires strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Requires strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees.
- Must be able to meet deadlines.
- Ability to set and maintain high quality work standards.
- Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
